WHAT IS MASSAGE THERAPY?

Massage Therapy is an excellent form of alternative therapy for the various populations living in long-term care facilities. Often residents suffer from chronic pain and as a result there is decreased social contact. Massage helps to alleviate both the physical and emotional ailments.

ABOUT THE SERVICE

We arrange RMT's (Registered Massage Therapists) who specialize in working with residents in long-term care and retirement homes. These residents require massage to enhance their physical and psychological well being. The RMT's work at the bedside of the residents or with a portable chair/table. Often facilities ask us to incorporate massage therapy within their recreation department.
