An audiologist and/or licensed hearing aid specialist is a regulated professional who conducts a complete battery of hearing tests.
Comprehensive hearing assessments
Molds and impressions
Prescription of hearing aids and accessories
Repairs of existing aids (when deemed appropriate)
On-Site Specialists coordinates audiology clinic dates as well as individual assesments when appropriate.
HEARING TESTS SHOULD BE PERFORMED EVERY 2 YEARS FOR:
Anyone who uses hearing aids and/or devices
Patients who have had any rapid deterioration in hearing.
The assessments that are arranged by On-Site Specialists are comprehensive and intended to help the patient and family gain an improved knowledge of hearing loss and provide a course of action to be taken.
