The service includes comprehensive examinations for early detection of ocular diseases, such as glaucoma. A core benefit is the convenience of on-site prescription services, including eyeglasses, immediate adjustments, and lens replacements, ensuring residents have tailored visual solutions without leaving the facility.

  • Complete routine vision examinations
  • Glaucoma and other ocular disease testing
  • Full assortment of optical and eyewear needs
  • On-site prescription filling and adjustments
  • Lens replacements and repairs
  • Referrals for specialized care (if necessary)

ROUTINE EYE EXAMS SHOULD BE DONE ANNUALLY FOR:

  • Anyone who has had related optical surgeries
  • Residents who have prescribed eyeglasses
  • Seniors who have had deterioration in sight
  • Anyone who has had cataracts removed

On-Site Specialists administrates the schedule for optometry on a first-come, first-served basis. Clinics are typically held every three months, pending demand/provider availability. Our administrators will check eligibility for OHIP coverage. Additional fees
may be incurred outside of coverage. Emergency visit services may be accommodated based on provider availability.
